The only memorable thing this character gave us was that line about the Black Eyed Peas.

I’m a huge James Spader fan, but I don’t think I recall ever laughing at any of his scenes on the show. I may be alone in that, but for a sitcom, I’m not sure that’s the direction you want to go.
